Chemical Waste Disposal

提交 一个完整的 Denver Campus Chemical Waste Pickup Request​ to schedule a pickup of chemical waste.​

所有 those who generate chemical waste must remain current in Chemical Waste Management training in Skillsoft.

Satellite Accumulation Area inspections must be conducted and documented weekly.

所有 hazardous waste containers must be labeled with Hazardous Waste stickers which include Globally Harmonized System pictograms indicating the hazards present (shown).

Containers that are not included on the Denver Campus Chemical Waste Pickup Request will not be collected.

Unknown chemical waste containers will be assessed a $25 processing fee per container.

Chemical Inventory

The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) administers EHS Assistant, the online chemical inventory system used at the 皇冠搏彩APP下载丹佛校区. 所有 chemical owners must track their inventories using this system. ​

EHS Training for Students

Denver Campus students and non-employees must access required EHS training via the AHEC Training website

First time accessing the site: 

1. Click "(Log in)" on top right
2. Choose "Create new account button"
3. Password must be first initial, last name, ID# (if applicable) with no spaces or punctuation; example: GWashington123456
4. Use only CU email address
5. Enter PI's name in "City/town" box ​

Once ALL required training has been completed, send EHS a notification

5. List of completed courses

EHS sends email notices prior to the due date if a training has a recurring requirement.

Incident Reporting

Follow up all incidents involving chemical, biological or radiological spills or exposures, or any physical injury by submitting 一个完整的 Denver Campus Incident Report​​.​ 

For non-life threatening injuries or illnesses, visit the Health Center at Auraria (Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.星期五8点a.m. - 3 p.m.), or Denver Health Medical Center (777 Bannock Street, Denver, CO 80204). ​   

For life-threatening injuries or illnesses call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.​

Tax-free eth​anol may be purchased by researchers on the Denver Campus.

• Delivery will be arranged. There must be someone present at the purchasing location to receive the delivery.
• Person receiving purchase must          
  • Show UCDenver ID Badge         
  • Show a valid driver's license or other age-verification ID         
  • Be at least 21 years old
